We designed these awls to be a great, all-around utility tool. Their small size makes them usable for a wide variety of things. They were designed as a compact leather or woodworking tool, however, you will find that they come in handy all day long. Made from O1 tool steel which is then hardened and tempered.

The handles are made of an African hardwood called Pau Rosa. It looks great, is beautiful, and only gets better with age. Be advised that the shape and color of the wooden handle DOES vary as it does with all our tools. Our handles are turned by hand and they are made from natural wood and are therefore all unique. They will be very similar to what you see in the pictures but will differ in small detail, shape, and color. DOES NOT INCLUDE SHEATH. (Here is link to sheath: Teardrop Awl Sheath)
